I re-watched Back To The Future I & II a couple of weeks ago, and i'm not ashamed to say i still like it...a lot. Especially the 1st episode. Everything is just so good oldies: Cars, clothes, attitudes, fears...and of course Music. That scene with Marty Mc Fly playing the absolute master-piece Johnny Be Goode at the bal is just my fav' part of the trilogy. I've been a big fan of jazz since my dad bought a Selmer saxophone about 18 years ago....[He sold it...to buy a Harley Davidson...Damned....He sold also his Triumph Daytona 1964 to buy that american truck on 2 wheels. Sorry but i never been a fan of Harley...I just prefer other old moto but not those ones] When my dad sold that sax', i almost cried. Man, it was just a pure object, sound was perfect and ok, i confess i always wanted to get it one day. Too late now, i can only hear the harley noise in the background....Anyway...Today, i share a complete compilation from Bear Family Records i get at work with Vibrations magazine. At the first listen, i just felt like i was into the movie...This compilation is great.
First cause of the tracklist: so eclectic.
Secondly cause of the quality of tracks, there all sounds so R&B
And at least, i can dance an hour with it, close my eyes and feel i'm back in da past.
I love old songs, old jazz, Billie's voice on an old vynil...Music who makes you travel
